I took my own notes during the videos, but love having these to refer back to as well. The data recording forms and planning tools help me feel more in control knowing I have some basic tools in my kit to get me started.

This class was worth the time that I took out of my busy schedule. It was inclusive of all the things I was looking for to improve what I do as an instructional coach.

I am in the process of moving away from being a classroom teacher and becoming an instructional coach. This is a position we have never had at my school. I have never personally worked with a coach and was not sure about how to get started or even what the basics of my new role should like. This course is giving a great introduction to instructional coaching is providing me a practical framework and resources to use as I create this position.

I thought this clearly outlined positive and professional practices that can help any coach establish protocols for learning and working with teachers. The videos and downloads were practical and helpful in providing reflection space to help share my thinking in the moment.

This course really got me thinking about how I want to brand my coaching to my teachers and administrators and helped me get thoughtfully get rolling with my first 90 Day initiatives. Jim Knight offers lots of insight, cites excellent resources, and shares practical tips from his extensive experience as a coach and coaching coaches. This course will definitely serve as my go to resource as I begin and grow my coaching practice.
